Initially 2 sessions are required for best results, spaced one month apart. Maintenance sessions recommended every 4 – 6 months depending on your skin needs.
The downtime is minimal. Each injection site is immediately ‘bumpy’ after treatment. This settles within 24 – 48 hours as the product will start diffusing very quickly. You also may experience some mild redness. Rarely slight bruising after the treatment.
Patients are advised to avoid anti-inflammatory medications 24 hours before and after the procedure. After the treatment, we recommend avoiding physical strain and sports for 24 hours. Please also avoid having further cosmetic procedures for 48 hours. It is not recommended to have a sauna for the first few days either.Â
