Who can have this treatment?

Suitable for all skin types, settings are highly customisable and are adjustable depending on one’s individual skin tone.

What can I expect during treatment?

Most people feel a mild discomfort during treatment, depending on several factors including treatment intensity and pain threshold. Topical numbing cream will be applied 30 – 60 minutes before treatment for comfort. Treatments usually last 30 – 40 minutes for a full face.

How many treatments do I need?

Results are usually visible after your first treatment. Best results with 2 – 3 sessions depending on skin concerns. Prevent skin ageing and maintain results with 2 treatments a year.

Downtime

Downtime depends on intensity and can be individually customised.
Redness, pin-point bleeding, swelling, grid-like pattern can be expected for 1 – 5 days.
Lighter treatments can be designed for nil to minimal down time.
Most patients can go back to work and resume activities in 2 – 3 days. More intense treatments 5 – 7 days.

Pre and Post Treatment Care

We will apply a barrier cream post treatment, which you are to continue applying for a few days after treatment.
We ask you not to apply active ingredients such as AHAs, BHAs or Retinols for 7 – 10 days post treatment. Make-up can usually be resumed 2 – 4 days after treatment.
As Alma Hybrid downtime is highly customisable, ensure you follow the after care instructions discussed at the time of your appointment.
