What is AviClear Acne Laser Treatment?

AviClear is a specialised laser for acne. The 1726nm wavelength selectively targets the sebaceous glands. Decreasing its size and the over production of sebum, eliminating acne at the source without the need for prescription medications.

FAQ

AviClear is suitable for all skin types and all ages. AviClear laser acne treatment is suitable for mild, moderate to severe acne and, inflammatory acne.
The laser treatment takes approximately 30-50 minutes for the face. During the treatment your skin will be thoroughly cleaned prior to treatment, the laser treatment is comfortable due to the sapphire tip cooling provided by the laser with patients reporting about 3-4 out of 10 on the pain scale and a pinprick sensation on the skin.
Typically, you will need 3x quick 30-minute treatment sessions spaced 3-5 weeks apart.
After treatment mild redness is sometimes present but fades very quickly (within 24 hours), normally downtime is minimal to none.
Prior to your appointment, we recommend you shave any facial hair. No specific aftercare is required other than conservative sun avoidance for the first-week post-procedure. This includes applying SPF 30 and above and safe sun practices.
