What is Forever Young BBL or IPL?

IPL (Intense Pulse Light) and BBL (Broad Band Light) are advanced photo rejuvenating treatments that can reverse the signs of photo-ageing, pigmentation, sun damage and globally improve skin quality. It targets and addresses multiple skin concerns in the one treatment. 

Including:
Sunspots, freckles, age spots, redness, rosacea, wrinkles, skin texture, pores and overall improvement in skin quality.

Suitable for most skin types, this treatment is ideal for treating sun damage, ageing, enlarged pores, pigmentation, acne, redness and broken capillaries. A test patch may be required prior to full treatment if you have darker skin type or Melasma prone skin.

Numbing cream is applied about 20 – 30 minutes prior to treatment to make it more comfortable, along with a cooling gel during treatment. You can feel a sharp warming sensation. The treatment is very quick and only takes 5 – 10 minutes. Ice is usually applied afterwards to cool the area.

Most people require 2 – 3 treatments, spaced a month apart. After reaching your desired results, this treatment is recommended to do twice a year to maintain and sustain results and to prevent collagen loss.

Immediately after treatment the skin will feel red and warm, this sensation usually subside within the hour.
Pigmentation may darken and will naturally exfoliate / migrate out of the skin over 5 – 7 days

Alway use a broad spectrum sunscreen daily, avoid sun bathing or fake tan at least 2 weeks pre and post treatment. On the day of treatment, you can use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser to keep the skin hydrated. You can resume wearing make-up the day after treatment. Avoid skincare with active ingredients such as AHAs and BHAs for 5 days after or as advised at time of treatment.
